Description:
This was the 3rd project that I had to do in the CSSSA animation class for the year 20007.
Before we did this piece, we had a field trip to the zoo. While we were at the zoo we had to draw 5 different animals 5 different times. When we were finished, we went back to the campus and choose an animal to do.
Once we choose which animal to do, we had to then take 3 different illustrational styles and make one of our drawings in that illustrational style several times. We did this to create a dynamic hold. A dynamic hold is a series of frames that project a still image, but since all the fames are drawn slightly different, they "wiggle" and create an interesting almost flashing effect.
I had the oppurtunity to have shoot on a computer (using framethief)that wasn't going to be used for 3 hours. I got all my animation done in one sitting. :) I had lots of time.
As part of the assingment we had to had a "surprise ending". I'm not going to tell you what it is, so watch it and find out. :)
Oh, and I got help with sound with a good friend, Johnny Micheal Ashley. He's going to be a great animator some day.
