bschott ::: Favorites So what does it all mean? Well it means they were partial acurate. They would be 'painted' with the HAT BOX range radar from the SA-13, and yes they were right that this was an IR missle and flares are designed to decoy them if used at the right time. The missles fired 5 seconds apart also prove it was an SA-13. The missles would never fly that slow. The F/A-18 couldn't fly at the mach speed needed to outrun the missles at the altitude it was at nor could it manuver at those speeds. 07-08-13 14:48:14 _____________________________________________________

That only is used to tell the operator the targets range to prevent wasting missiles on targest outside of effective range.
