iJITSU ::: Favorites I tire of the bjj/judo banter. Both modern judo and Gracie/Brazilian jiu-jitsu come from old style, pre-war Kodokan judo. Go look at an old judo book (Best Judo or Canon of Judo for example) and you'll see open guard sweeps, leg locks, triagle chokes from the guard, etc. Today, bjj and judo are different but only in focus and sport rules. If a guy does an armlock, is he doing bjj or judo? If he does a take down, same question?
