maybe you guys are used to the other guy singing it, and no doubt, singing it better than John as he is a professional singer and it is customed for him, but I dun think John did a too bad job on the song... there's no need for comments such as, its clear why rebecca split; His singing's not bad, even if its not upto the professional singer's mark.

Yeah I know. Kokomo and I Write The Songs were both enormous travesties that should've never been released. Its a shame that the 2 worst members of the Beach Boys (Mike's voice hasn't sounded good since 1975 and he hasn't written a good songs since 1973's Big Sur, Bruce is a good musician but writes horrible songs) are the ones still carrying on the name. Though I'm sure Brian and Al are making good money off of them through their shares in Brother Records.
