no one claims the Canadian system is perfect. It has serious problems in the funding and administration, but in principle it is FAR better than the cruelty of the American system.

Sean Hannity is a sorry sack of shit. Why won't this moron take on Moore. Instead, we watch this idiot interview another idiot director about his home movie. Once again, Hannity takes on Moore, sans Moore. Who do you think wants it that way?

I love how they are documenting the fact that Canadians have such a long waiting time for surgery... isn't part of the point here that we at least KNOW we need surgery! What about all those stories where American citizens are not even able to go to the doctor in the first place, or even if they do, are denied treatment? So what's worse folks, waiting a little bit longer but knowing you have a good chance of being treated or cured, or knowing that you have no hope at all.

Fox propandists go to work for private insurance and big pharma, no surprise there. I live in Canada and this program is B.S. Whenever my Mom has needed urgent care she gets it that day, free and high quality. If I get any kind of urgent health problem, or just want to walk into a walk-in medical clinic, I can get it seen to today, free. Don't be deceived by Fox, and go see Sicko for yourself.

Something else not told. a Astrocytoma tumour comes in 4 grades. G-1, a highly unlikely childhood cancer,G-3 & 4 are deadly, with about a 3% chance of survival even if treated. He had, G-2, potentially treatable, rarely turns to G-3 or 4, and is not aggressive. A waiting list would have been a hardship, but would have played little role in the final outcome (living with a type 2, or dying with a type 4 tumour.)

This desperate woman at the end of the clip didn't realize the only reason why she could get her husband treated full price in the US was because she had money to do so. She was ready to risk her house to get her husband treated; witch is plainly comprehensible. But what if it wasn't enough? Without the Canadian health system, her husband would end up like in the US; never to be treated. At least the Canadian health system doesn't think rich people deserves to be treated more than poor ones.

Wow. Michael Moore propaganda movie? No, wait... it's fox news propaganda! I live in Canada. My mother had to have a surgery for a urgent heart problem, she waited only one week, and finally paid nothing. It's true that the Canadian health system is not that fast, but they prioritize urgent matters over smallest ones. And at least everybody have access to it. It is way better to wait a little than for a poor guy in the US to NEVER get treated! Is it not?
