What about all those stories where American citizens are not even able to go to the doctor in the first place, or even if they do, are denied treatment? noyards ::: Favorites Something else not told. a Astrocytoma tumour comes in 4 grades. G-1, a highly unlikely childhood cancer,G-3 & 4 are deadly, with about a 3% chance of survival even if treated. He had, G-2, potentially treatable, rarely turns to G-3 or 4, and is not aggressive. She was ready to risk her house to get her husband treated; witch is plainly comprehensible. But what if it wasn't enough? Without the Canadian health system, her husband would end up like in the US; never to be treated. My mother had to have a surgery for a urgent heart problem, she waited only one week, and finally paid nothing. It's true that the Canadian health system is not that fast, but they prioritize urgent matters over smallest ones. And at least everybody have access to it.
