Stavinsky was to become very critical of the choreography later on saying Nijinsky had no real idea as to what the music was doing rhythmically and they apparently had enormous rows over the interpretation of the scenario etc. (Stravinsky provided a commentary for the CBS recording of himself conducting it which is my source.Worth checking out.) He appears to have been particuarly critical of the "knockkneed Lolitas" that opened the ballet!! 07-10-06 07:26:07 __________________________________________________
