Description: Ok so when I turn on the ps3 it makes the beep noise then the light turns green and all of a sudden it turns light green or yellow. After that it makes like 3 or 4 beeps then it shows the red light just flashing and the ps3 won't turn on. Why not? What is the problem? Please help. |

Johnnyboybravo ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 00:49:17 All I know from research that the newer ps3 use crap HDD compare to the original kind..thats why the new comers are experiencing trouble... __________________________________________________
EuphoricDevil ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 22:36:11 flip the switch in the back. you know turn the whole thing off... turn the switch back on , and then hit the ps button on your controler. this should solve your problem.. __________________________________________________

locky889 ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 06:10:13 The HDD failure problem does not cause the 40gbs lack of backwards compatibility. The fact that play station 2 transisters were removed from the ps3 is what has caused the problem. Unfortunately as the ps3 contains no Ps2 hardware most ps2 games do not work and the only way for developers or sony in particular to get around this problem is to create an emulater for each game which would be incredibally time consuming and costly. __________________________________________________
