I'm a new Sparks fan...I always love discovering bands that were just doing things that were ahead of the times. There is nothing on the "Kimono My House" album that sounds like it was recorded in 1974! Ron and Russel Mael were just too friggin original!

Oh Yeah! All those guys were awesome. I've always been a fan of Sir George Martins' work with The Beatles along with Chris Thomas and of course Geoff Emmerick!

Remind me to not irritatingly comment the same thing multiple times several weeks apart. It's creepy. When a band syncs in this setting, do they actually play and sing with instruments not plugged in, or technically crappily amplified and then they dub it over for broadcast, or does this track play over their miming at the time of performance? What if those shows where an audience is present?

Aewsome, great to see Sparks of the 70's again. It's hard for people today to conceive how truly innovative they were for that time. I saw them open for Patti Smith in Chicago in around 74. Very cutting edge !

Martin Lee Gore is a bit of a Sparks fan - he does a terrific 'cover' of this on his 'Counterfeit' CD - live version is on YT. Hardly ever saw their European video offerings in the UK ... mores the pity. Thanks for sharing this one 0outerspace0
