And to be more detailed: Fred, during season 5, get possessed by Illyrica, a ancient demon-god (old one, to be precise) who eats Fred's soul and takes over her body. She's alluded to be the big bad, but when she finds her former army destroyed, goes into a existential crisis. Without purpose, Wesley sorta takes her under his wing. __________________________________________________
