StefanMcMusefan1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-12 13:24:04 Making sure you can't and don't fuck things up. You don't have to think, 'cause the Mac is running you, you're not in control, not by far. On the other hand you can fuck up bad with PCs, but if you do, it only happens once, and then you learn from the experience. __________________________________________________

StefanMcMusefan1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-12 13:22:20 What is that supposed to mean? It should be the other way around. On PCs you can choose to think or not, you can either do things according to default settings or change the whole thing (my way of interpreting "thinking for yourself"), but on a Mac you're limited to the OS. If you want things differently, you can't do anything about it, except buy a new Mac. It's like "protecting" you. __________________________________________________

imntoyouok ::: Favorites 2007-08-25 14:23:04 Nothing's perfect. I will tell you right now that I am on a Mac running OS X but prefer to use Firefox. In your case, it appears you were using a old version of Safari and/or OS X. The latest version of the crash dialog has a "Reopen" button. A preference file dump as MacBoob suggested might have been a possible solution. When a program kept crashing on me back in Panther that was the panacea. I hope your browser of choice on Windows is making the online experience satisfying enough for you. __________________________________________________
waterdrop006 ::: Favorites 2007-08-14 23:00:15 Funny I thought Apple made PCs. In fact, didn't they invent the PC, when the came out with the Apple I and II? Those where the first PCs ever to be affordable for everyday people. __________________________________________________
powerbookg ::: Favorites 2007-08-06 01:56:50 Apple is SO much better than PCs. People who can't think for themselves use PCs. __________________________________________________
waterdrop006 ::: Favorites 2007-07-16 00:00:52 I always do in Windows and in Ubuntu. __________________________________________________
Goddamn666 ::: Favorites 2007-07-08 07:34:40 You should use Firefox. __________________________________________________
waterdrop006 ::: Favorites 2007-07-07 21:32:44 I use Windows now :) __________________________________________________
MacBoob ::: Favorites 2007-07-04 18:17:36 Um...i think you have a corrupted preference file that you need to delete ASAP. Go to Home/Library/Preferences and look for "com.apple.Safari.plist" and move it to the trash. Safari will generate a new one and hopefully that solves your issues. Also, you can reset Safari. With Safari launched, click on the safari drop down menu in the menubar and click reset safari. Hope one of these help __________________________________________________ |
